Students in grades 1, 5 and 9 will get new laptops this fall, funded by the levy voters approved in 2022. The levy provides new laptops for all students to use at school and at home.

Schools will let parents know what day their child should bring their laptop in for replacement.
On that day, students must bring both their current laptop and its power cord to school. They will be provided with a new laptop and a corresponding power cord that same day.

Students do not need to turn in their old headset.

All students will get a new device every four years on this cycle. (Next year’s 1st, 5th and 9th graders will get their new laptops, etc.)

Tacoma Online students have already received their laptops.
