In honor of Black History Month, we asked students from Silas High School's Black Student Union to share their perspective and experiences. 

In their thoughtful responses, they reflect on the significance of Black history, the progress made, and the work still ahead. They discuss their personal experiences, the importance of representation and the value of diverse perspectives.

They also offer meaningful advice to the next generation of Black youth.
